About the caregiver

Hello! My name is Chala, I live in NYC, but have moved around from California to Virginia to Alaska to England and now here! My family adopted our first dog, Zyla, a mutt, when I was nine years old. Because I was the one to nag my parents to adopt her, she was mainly my responsibility. When she was gone, I continued to dog sit and walk dogs for family and friends. There was Zoe, a gordon setter that I dog sat and walked frequently; Lupine, a black lab I dog sat and became one of my favorite hiking buddies; Squishy, a snorty, little pug who I adored with all my heart; and now Maggie, a golden retriever I live with and care for when my housemate is not around. Since I was 18, I have volunteered at animal shelters to socialize with the dogs. I absolutely love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and if I didn't move around so much I'd adopt one of my own. In the meantime, I can't wait to meet and hang out with yours!
