About the caregiver

Hi, my name is David Nitchman and I am currently a college student in the Chicagoland area. I grew up in Queens, NY and have absolutely loved dogs since I was young. Growing up, my family was involved in raising guide dogs for an organization called Guiding eyes for the blind. In high school, I volunteered as the primary puppy raiser for a beautiful black lab named Fanta who has now been working as a guide dog in Washington, DC for about 7 years. Raising Fanta and helping my family raise 3 other pups across 8 years, I have experience walking, sitting, and training dogs of various breeds. I love being a Wag walker because I get to meet and spend quality time with so many different dogs in addition to providing a service to you, their owner!
