About the caregiver

I have grown up with a dog since I was born, learning to walk beside my family's spaniel. After his passing, I was allowed to pick out a puppy: a golden lab/border collie mix. She is the sweetest, but has taught me what it means to be patient. She is still kicking, at almost 15 years old! She does suffer from doggie Alzheimer's; doesn't hear her name, or see you, but the way those ears go up when she catches your scent is truly priceless.
